Policy – Collaboration

AT-Autism is committed to equality and access in all our activities. A drive for authentic inclusion and collaboration is a fundamental aspect of our practice, offering ethical and effective direction. Our approach is based on these principles, together with the priorities, skills and expertise, and experience of our various constituents. These include autistic people, families, and professionals, many of whom are themselves autistic, and other organisations and individuals that share our values. In this, we seek to recognise, explore, and address issues or concerns regarding potential power imbalances to facilitate genuine partnerships. Adjustments and adaptation, listening, co-design, co-production, and co-delivery underpin all decisions and activities that affect our policies and practice.
